An American record company that is a sub section of Universal Music Group. Originally formed in 1995 by Monte Lipman, did at one point represent more feel good music such as reggae and disco but now produced Pop music with artists such as Ariana Grande and The Weekend having produced albums under this label. The label produces much more mainstream music and would be unlikely to be interested in something in-established such as my track /video.

An independent record label founded in 2008 by Jonny Kaps. They're an american company with artists such as Ekkah signed to them, which would fit with the origin of my track, that produce alternative and independent
music and therefore would be more likely to be interested in my track.
However it is still unlikely to be in contact with record labels with such an in-established artist, therefore it is much more likely that the music will be self produced and put up on sites such as Soundcloud or Youtube and shared via social media. Although, unknown artists can still put their music up for sale on iTunes for a small fee, therefore giving audiences a chance to invest in the new music no matter how small the audience may be.
